Waste Transfer Station

Coral Springs residents may drop off bulk, recycling, and organic materials every weekend at the Waste Transfer Station. Household Hazardous Waste drop-off is available at the station the first weekend of every month. Special Hazardous Waste drop-off is available several times a year on specific dates.

The service is free of charge for Coral Springs residents. Valid I.D. and proof of address must be presented.

 

Drop-Off

Step 1.Guidelines

  • It's important to note that this service is strictly for use of disposal of normal residential material to be brought by the resident.
  • Commercial vehicles are prohibited, even if the business or contractor is located within the city.
  • One visit per household per day
  • Removal of any disposed material (scavenging) is prohibited.

Step 2.Accepted Materials

Accepted during normal operating days and hours. Limit of 6 cubic yards of bulky/yard waste material.

  • Household Goods (i.e., couches, chairs, mattresses, tables, appliances*, carpet and padding, etc.)
  • Yard Waste (i.e., unbundled tree trimmings, palm front, tree branches, brush)
  • Cardboard (flat and empty; no plastic or styrofoam filling)
  • Tires - 2 per household
  • Household Construction and Demolition Material (residents may dispose of up to 2 yards per day from home construction)
  • Recyclables 
  • Organics and Food Waste

NOT Accepted

  • Chemicals and cleaning liquids
  • Uncontained liquid
  • Batteries
  • Commercial waste
  • Raw garbage
  • Animal waste

Step 3.Household Hazardous Waste

ONLY accepted the first weekend of the month.

*Freon must be removed from all appliances before disposing at the Waste Transfer Station.
