Art in the Park

Project Summary

The City of Coral Springs Public Art Committee will commission an artist for an interactive sculpture at the Coral Springs Pride Promoters Park, a city facility that provides a neighborhood playground and recreation for residents.

Themes:

This artwork should be significant in size and able to stand on its own without support from any nearby structures. The artwork must have interactive aspects that involve the spectator, promotes accessibility through art, and can engage multiple individuals at a time as a way of encouraging connectedness and a sense of community. This sculpture will provide a variety of opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in and provide healing and social cohesion. The artwork should have a dramatic visual aspect to it.
